I am Ashwin Kumar Karnad, a Research Software Engineer (RSE) at the Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC), Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany. My work primarily focuses on integrating quantum computers with classical high-performance computing (HPC) systems to build hybrid quantum computing infrastructure and benchmarking applications on it.
I started this site as an open notebook to document projects, experiments, and technical notes—mostly spanning physics, instrumentation, computing, and software. Having a public record helps me organize what I have learned and remember how I tackled specific problems, while hopefully offering something helpful or interesting to others working on similar ideas.
